Nordt Engineered Precious Metals is pleased to be a
division of it’s parent company, The John C. Nordt Company,
a global leader in private label jewelry manufacturing.
John C. Nordt Company Inc. is a world class contract manufacturer of precious metal tubing, rod and rings. Nordt’s FusionForged® tubing is unmatched in quality and offers jewelry manufacturers in the U.S., Asia, Europe the UK and jewelry materials of unsurpassed quality for the Luxury market.
We begin the relationship in our Product Design Center
To help streamline your creative process, Nordt has made a commitment to our customers by offering 3-D SolidWorks® computer-assisted design (CAD) capabilities.
CAD technology produces 3D images so you can estimate weights and shapes before we manufacture a product. This provides you with important price point information before a sample is produced, shortening design time by days or even weeks.
Exceptional Karat Integrity is a hallmark of our reputation
The metallurgical laboratory provides XRF (X-ray florescence) and fine assay analysis of each precious metal melt. Our metallography equipment allows examination and control of the microstructure of our jewelry products. Nordt's manufacturing standards require strict weight management because every product we manufacture must meet the specific weights predicted by our CAD engineers. On-site equipment enables us to reliably control the superior quality and karat integrity of metals.
Whatever Nordt product you're admiring, the difference you see in our beautiful creations is our consistent high quality and attention to detail. Once your product is manufactured, our inspection process ensures the quality results our reputation is built upon. Our products are manufactured to within 2/1000ths of an inch. And because we demand the greatest precision and careful craftsmanship, our results are simply brilliant. Nordt is ISO9001 Certified.
Our product Line includes many categories of products including:
With thousands of Nordt wedding band styles to choose from, manufacturers, designers, and wholesalers can simply describe the width, weight, and shape of the band they need and our product design specialists will recommend the right product for each application.
Platinum Wedding Bands
Quality platinum wedding bands are the signature product of the John C. Nordt Company. By processing platinum tubing using Nordt technology, we are able to produce superior platinum products with the best overall surface finish in the industry.
Platinum & 18K Assemblies
Combining 18K gold and platinum to make an 18K/platinum ring is a challenge - and an art. Individual 18K and platinum parts must be designed and manufactured separately. But because we use CAD technology to create shapes and weights prior to manufacture, we provide unmatched design flexibility in 18K/platinum styling. Nordt's combined knowledge of metallurgy, manufacturing, and CAD technology enables us to bring gold and platinum together in beautiful designs that last a lifetime.
For over two decades the Nordt company has offered solderless two-tone gold wedding band products. The benefits of solderless products are obvious to our customers. With Nordt 14K and 18K solderless two-tones there’s no assembly required. No need to restrict your designs because there’s no seam to conceal. And all our two-tones are stretchable for greater convenience and cost savings.
Blanks For Hand Setting
These blanks were designed by taking into consideration the geometry of each diamond size. Each diamond size requires an adjustment in channel depth and width in order to proportionately accommodate the diamond setter's needs.
Blanks For Machine Setting
Nordt blanks for machine setting are designed to fit your diamond inventory needs. They are engineered to minimize gold or platinum loss during the channeling and machine setting process.
In the 1990s, Nordt introduced a new manufacturing process for pre-notched solitaire mountings machined from our unique extruded tubing. Because all Nordt solitaires are machined within .002 inches of specifications, our blanks always lie flat, so polishing is simple, and positioning the head on straight is easier.
